Baked Pecorino Toscano with Honey, Walnuts & Thyme

Ingredients:
For the cheese:
- 6 oz Pecorino Toscano PDO
- 1/4 cup walnuts
- 2 tbsp honey
- Fresh thyme
- Flaky sea salt
For the baguette crostini:
- 1 demi baguette
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Preparation:
- Slice the baguette and season with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Toast in a pan on both sides until golden and crisp.
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Slice the Pecorino Toscano and place it in a baking dish.
- Bake for about 12 minutes.
- Add the walnuts and thyme, then bake for a few more minutes.
- Finish with a generous drizzle of honey and a sprinkle of flaky sea salt.
- Serve immediately with the warm crostini.
